What is WSATR

PURPOSE
  • The Western States Association of Tax Representatives (WSATR) was organized to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information, ideas and experiences in the field of ad valorem taxation.  
  • Develop and encourage mutual understanding and cooperation both among the members of this Association and with public officials charged with the duties of administering the laws governing taxation.
  • Promote and encourage just, fair, impartial and equitable taxation practices. 

ORGANIZATION AND MEMBERSHIP
Membership in WSATR is open to all Property Tax Professionals who are employees of an entity that is subject to ad valorem taxation in a member state.  Member states are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.   

FINANCES
WSATR is financed primarily from annual dues assessed to members.
